Five questions for C&S Computer und Software GmbH – TEAM-X consortium partner
Why are you involved in TEAM-X as a consortium partner?
Because we wanted to bring the aspect of long-term care into the context of Gaia-X. Currently, projects in the health sector focus on cure but not on care. Through our entry, C&S has succeeded in raising awareness for care.
What is your task?
The implementation of a Gaia-X compatible digital care platform. We are implementing this as an example with the use cases “healthcare location household” and “inpatient care for the elderly”. The entire process is based on our networking and integration platform ManagingCare Digital (MCD).
What are the biggest challenges?
The support of politics and executive power.
What are the benefits of a Gaia-X compliant data room?
I would like to explain this using the example of the “healthcare location household”. Such a data room enables citizens to combine medicine and care. In other words, they have the chance to remain in their own household longer and thus live a self-determined life. On the other hand, Gaia-X enables linking with other domains, e.g. mobility. This means that in the future, as a citizen, I will be able to book mobility services directly from home, such as the autonomously driving mobility service of the district for people with disabilities.
What inspires you about Gaia-X?
The opportunity to develop completely new forms of care oriented toward the common good and thus make a contribution to combating the nursing shortage.
